The short version: Movietta runs on your Mac and never uploads your footage. There's no account. This website counts visits with Fathom Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. We don't sell, share or store personal data about you.
The Movietta app
Movietta analyzes and edits your videos and photos entirely on your Mac. Your footage, projects and exports stay on your computer.
- No account. You don't sign up or sign in, so we don't hold a name, email or password for you.
- No uploads. Your clips, photos, music and finished videos are never sent to us or anyone else.
- On-device AI. The AI models run locally on your Mac. They are open models (Qwen3-VL or Gemma 3), not ChatGPT, Claude or any other cloud service.
Downloading the AI model. The first time you open Movietta, it downloads the AI model you choose. Like any download, the server that hosts the model file receives a standard request from your Mac, which includes your IP address. That download doesn't include any of your footage. After that, Movietta works offline.

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how many people visit this site and which pages they look at. Fathom:
- doesn't use cookies or similar tracking,

- only gives us aggregate numbers, like page views, referring sites, browser type and country.
You can read more in Fathom's privacy policy. Because nothing on this site uses cookies, there's no cookie banner.
Like every website, our hosting provider handles the basic technical information your browser sends to load a page, such as your IP address. We don't use it to identify you.
